Mortgage interest rates for December 7, 2018 are about the same as yesterday. My recommendation is to lock in your interest rate.

Hi I’m Dan Eveland with mortgage
interest rates for December 7, 2018.
We’re at about where we were at the end
of the day yesterday with mortgage
interest rates. The Fannie Mae 4% coupon
is a little better today. We’ve
bounced up about 10 basis points which
is good sign.
We had some mortgage interest rate
friendly economic news this morning. The
non-farm payrolls came in lower than
expected by actually quite a bit and
then the Dow and stock market is down
again today. So, we’re seeing the Fannie
Mae 4% coupon
bounce up a little bit; we’re hoping that
we can hold onto that for most of next
week and maybe push that higher as you
can see from the graph, but if we don’t
there’s a good chance that we might
start losing that again. So, if you are in
a position to lock I suggest doing so instead of taking that risk. I just don’t think there’s a huge upside to
waiting right now. Have a good weekend, bye!
